It is easy to visit Posazavi once you are in Prague. You have many option for transportation depending on your time possibilities, budget and preferences.
Getting to Posazavi
You can get to Tynec nad Sazavou (our usual starting point) easily from Prague by several modes of transportation:
When you drive it is some 30 km from Prague.
The most interesting option is to take a train from the Prague Main Railway Station. We highly recommend this authentic experience to everyone.
There is a direct bus (No. 339) from the bus stop in Budejovicka (red line of metro).
It is possible to arrange a private transportation from your hotel.
Getting around
For travelling around we often use railroad called Posazavsky Pacific which connects all the important places in the region. The scenic train is really a nice experience.
